It’s important for people who make stuff — especially writers who often work alone—to get together and shoot the breeze.

A Scratch of Writers* is exactly that—a free, casual gathering where creatives can connect. There are always free books and lots of seltzer.

*At the first one, we voted on what a group of writers should be called. The winner was “scratch.”

A new Story Connection class begins April 15 at the Carrboro ArtsCenter. The final performance on May 22 will feature a great lineup of hilarious and moving stories from students. More info here.

If you're storytelling-curious, consider signing up for the next class.

This class is for anyone who has a story to tell, wants to feel more comfortable in their body, and is ready to use their voice (or wants to be ready!). It's appropriate for all levels of storytelling experience, with beginners especially welcome, and it's a whole lot of FUN.
